What is the difference between buying off the Apple site or off Amazon?
I am looking at buying Final Cut Express 4. (already decided) and I was wondering if there is a difference between buying from Apple or Amazon.
Amazon is cheaper, but if you buy from Apple it will give you full product backing right?

Buying from apple is the ultimate safe way to go about it.
When you buy it from apple it is fully guaranteed that it will be new, and the product you want.
When you buy it from amazon, you risk taking the chance of damaged, different product, used, etc.
Ultimately, it is safer to spend a little extra and buy it directly from apple.
No difference. What Amazon sells is perfectly legal and has the same backing as that from Apple. the first answer was so wrong.
There really is no big difference, except for that Amazon has cheaper pricing like you said.
