What are some good software delopment sites or blogs?
Professional software developers and students… what sites and blogs are good for learning new and interesting things, keeping up to date on new technologies, and generally keeping the world of software development interesting and exciting?
Which sites do you read regularly?

dZone is very comprehensive for bringing all the latest and greatest dev news. A great one to add to your RSS reader…
I also keep up with Slashdot, BoingBoing (more relaxed reading, definitely not only for devs), Coding Horror, and DarkReading (for security news).
Coding Horror is a great way to get tuned into a lot of other ones, Jeff Atwood links to a ton of sites, that’d be my top recommendation.
Also, take a look at stackoverflow.com for a great Q/A site strictly for developers. That one is run by the same group that does Coding Horror.
I also browse a few sites for fun, like TheDailyWTF, Lifehacker, FreedomToTinker, and of course…xkcd.com.
Getting started with these will start to tune you into the hive mind of development (any skilled dev is tuned into the hive). You’re on the right track just by looking for stuff like this. If you aren’t keeping up in software development, you will find yourself very quickly outpaced by your peers who are.
