Is bluehost any good for an e-commerce site?

I’ve done some serious digging for a good hosting site for some time. godaddy.com has been my top choice simply because it is most recommended, and it best fit the needs of what I want to do? Would bluehost be any good for my needs or should I stick with godaddy. I’ve calculated that I would have to pay 0 up front, plus monthly with godaddy, compared to .95 plus a merchant account w/ bluehost. I’m simply trying to figure out what’s the catch with bluehost.

Any advice on easy to set up e-commerce website to handle credit cards?

I am looking for a very simplistic ‘turnkey’ type of e-commerce website. This is more for ’services’ rather than goods… so there will only be 2 or 3 things to buy, but I want the ability to accept credit cards. There seems to be so many choices on the internet and the need to open a merchant account and go through so many steps to get set up. Is there simply a service out there that can handle everything relatively easily and obviously I’d have to pay a few (%) out of each transaction but it would save me the headache of starting from scratch? I’d like to be able to handle online check, credit/debit cards, Paypal so people have choices in how to pay for the service I am going to offer. Thanks

Integrating e-commerce with bricks and mortar?

I am new to the world of e-commerce and was able to find a great deal of information online relating to starting an e-commerce site. However, I have not been able to find a good website that explains the essentials of integrating an e-commerce site with a bricks and mortar operation. Does anyone know of a site I could visit that would explain this to me?

Also, from what I have gathered thus far, I need to check there is integration between the shopping cart, POS software, merchant account, gateway, merchant processor, host, SSL certificate, virtual terminal and PCI compliance companies. I have an understanding of the role each of these play, but am confused about integration in general. Which of these components to my e-commerce/bricks and mortar operation would I need to check for integration? Are there any components I am not mentioning?

Hopefully I’ve made my question clear…thanks for the help.
