I just recently got my first domain name and I am not familiar with all the different hosting sites out there. What company is good and reliable for hosting domains, particularly for someone starting out and not familiar with programming? I heard of GoDaddy, are they any good? And should I go with Linux or Windows hosting? Thanks.

I don’t know anything about web design. What programs are compatable with Linux Web Hosting? What would you recommend? Do you know about any good templates compatable with Linux Web Hosting?

I am new at web design, and in the process of trying to find a good web hosting service. I plan on having lots of videos and photos on my sites, and was wondering what kind of features are the most important for me to be looking for when searching for a web host. Are some servers faster than others? If so, which are the fastest? And is it better to go with a windows or linux server? Are there any other important features that I need to look for? Heya Please tell em what the difference is between linux web hosting and windows web hosting. I made my site by dreamweaver does that affect either of the 2 i should choose please tell me thanx!
