I would like to have my small business’s URL be recognized during searches on the major search engines. It is seen by Google already – is there a way to submit it directly with specific keywords – meta tags in place?

What does "relevant" mean in google’s "brain"? For example, the hamburger, it is relevant to food and drink, and you also can say it’s relevant to NBA, because each audience can get a hamburger when the host team scores to 100. So what would be google’s decision?

I have an idea that I think is going to work. It is free like youtube and it can generate alot of traffic without selling any thing. But I do not know how to go about getting it started. Have you guys any idea how to do it? From an idea to a up and running internet business. After all, everything started out as an idea. Right? for examble- ebay, youtube, google, etc? i want to know if it will be useful for me, what i do is i just check my email(hotmail), use facebook, go on youtube and thats my basic stuff and then i do some extra searching up stuff and all that. i dont check blogs everyday or anything. so is google reader gonna be useful for me?

Typing yourself in google can be fun, but sometimes annoying. I know you can prevent facebook from picking you up on google, but my ebay info is pulling up as well. It’s not cool that someone can see my ratings and thus items I’ve bought. No way am I gonna be able to surprise my friend with a present now. How can I stop google from pulling up my ebay info?

I need some unique search engines. Obviously, Yahoo, Google, MSN, and Altavista are out. I want the unique ones that are easy to use and provide good information.

In the early days of the www as we know it, how did Google take market share away from competitors like Yahoo!, Lycos, Web-crawler, Alta Vista, Netscape, Mamma, Ask Jeeves, etc etc. I’m sure there are several more. Seems that many offer several of the same hits – so how did Google emerge as leader?

Also are there any other search engines not as well heard of that offer any unique features as an alternative?

I want to make a map and print that for a specific area in high resolution from google earth. But my problem is that I can’t joined the snaps properly in Photoshop for getting the wright map for a specific area. Is there any software for taking the snap shorts from google earth and joined them all to generate the right map for that area in high resoulution.
