Just about to ask anyone can think of some innovative ideas for an e-commerce site rather then Ebay, and Amazon.
Any Ideas?

I need a website where I can sell my customized/personalized gift baskets. I don’t want to sell on Ebay. I want something more classy and sophisticated. I need secure shopping for my customers, yet I want a site I can build for free or atleast really cheap. I have no website developing experience or knowledge so please explain all answers as clearly as possible.

I need step by step instructions on how to go about getting started.

I also need a web host, domain name site and I need a host that has great server service with minimum down time. Thanks.

have some local products to sell and im thinking of giving e-commerce a try. how do i go about receiving payments through credit cards? afraid im clueless and still in the early stages of research.

does anybody have experience on this? ebay online store? tips, advice, anything would be appreciated.

CNN, Microsoft, Ebay, and Yahoo all experienced DDoS attacks, but Yahoo is the only one that still allows ICMP traffic. I was curious as to why.

I have an idea that I think is going to work. It is free like youtube and it can generate alot of traffic without selling any thing. But I do not know how to go about getting it started. Typing yourself in google can be fun, but sometimes annoying. I know you can prevent facebook from picking you up on google, but my ebay info is pulling up as well. It’s not cool that someone can see my ratings and thus items I’ve bought. No way am I gonna be able to surprise my friend with a present now. How can I stop google from pulling up my ebay info?

I have a few ideas for an iternet business. My question is where to start. First I need a website. Where is the best place to do that. How do big companies start, like ebay or myspace. how did they get there website initially. These websites were not always huge. I know more than average about computers, but the internet is not my strong point so I just looking for the best route to take. Then I will look into those options.
