Is statcounter.com a good web site to use to track web site traffic?
I’ve used the site for a couple weeks now for free and it all seems great, but there is always the "too good to be true" factor.

Its a good site, gives you some decent reports also.
There are other fish in the pond also, Google analytics is quite good. Better graphs etc to impress the boss with ;)
There is also a new service that I would actually pay to have. Woopra – http://www.woopra.com/ its in beta atm, so the amount of data it can collect is limited. Its the same as statcounter or google analytics on the website but it has a very awesome downloadable client. The client allows you to view live user data, ie, what users are on your site – along with usernames etc and a whole host of cool features. Defiantly worth a look.
