How to apply Web 2.0 in a B2B setting?

Hi there.
I have recently learned about Web 2.0 and how it is revolutionizing the Internet. I am curious, how could I apply these learnings to a B2B environment? For example, how could a company that produces tomatoes use Web 2.0 technologies in an effort to win business from a chain restaurant? Thanks in advance for the help!

It depends on what you mean by web 2.0 or what you think web 2.0 means.

If you are just wanting to get business for your tomato grower – you would talk all about tomatoes and provide as much content as you can about tomatoes making you the expert in tomatoes.

the history of tomatoes, the uses for tomatoes, the chemical make up of tomatoes, sizes, shapes, different types of tomatoes, tomato recipes…

Then get your readers to share their stories, insights, cravings, thoughts, recipes, pictures, etc of tomatoes.

You will be selling tomatoes to everyone even people who don’t like them because you will have them so engaged in the story of the tomatoe that they won’t be able to resist.
