How do I block MSN access with my Netgear FVS336G router and still allow normal web traffic?
I have a Netgear FVS336G router and would like to be able to block MSN, Skype and Audio streaming while still allowing normal HTTP traffic.
If I disable HTP then MSN and audio streaming are blocked yet if I enable it they are open and I can’t figure out how to stop just them.
Please help?

You can disable access to MSN and Skype in each computer. You can’t block "audio streaming", since not all streams even use the same protocol, let alone have a common address or port. (Blocking HTTP only blocks audio streams that need web access to start. Winamp, for one, would still work.)
Thats a real tough one and would require a pretty in depth solution, basically you could try block port 1863 or passport.com or something. But msn messenger can now use upnp so ports aren’t really an issue any more. Also you have to remember that sites such as ebuddy and meebo exists. Which are web interfaces for msn. Not to mention the actual official web messenger offered by msn. On the other hand you could block that actual MSN program from operating if you are using vista you can even restrict certain times that a program can be used. I think that may be your only option but again you run into those web messengers which you could also block if you found them i guess.
