How can I hide my updates from appearing on Facebook?
It’s a bit annoying that everything you do on facebook has to be told to every single one of your friends, and I don’t like the fact that you can’t basically go to the bathroom because facebook has to say it. What can I do to hide some, or all, of my updates from appearing on Facebook?

there is a privacy button on the top, just click it and choose what u want under the news feed, mini feed settings, very easy
- Go to Settings in the upper-right of your Facebook Profile.
- To the right of ‘Privacy’, is the link ‘manage’, click it.
- Click on the section ‘Profile’
- You’ll see ‘Status Updates’, and to the right of it a drop-down menu. Change the option on the drop-down menu to Customize, and when the window pops up make sure it’s set to lowest level you feel comfortable with, and the drop-down menu here is set to ‘None of My Networks’, and the box ‘All Friends to Subscribe To My Status’ is unchecked.
- Click ‘Okay’.
- Make sure you click ‘Save Changes’ at the bottom of the screen, and you’ll be good to go in the future.

Also, to stop Updates you make to your Profile from appearing on your Wall and Friend’s News Feeds:
- Go back to ‘Settings’ and then ‘Privacy’, and this time go to the ‘News Feed and Wall’, and uncheck and of the boxes here that you don’t want the changes to be posted to the feeds.
- Click ‘Save Changes’, and you’re all set.
