    Hey there,

First of all, nowadays you don’t need any programming knowledge to create websites. Most web hosting providers give you what are called SiteBuilders (they provide them for free, at least the good ones do.). You can use those to build websites that look professional in all ways. You just would have to spend some time with the builder setting up your pages.

If you want to setup E-commerce shops, then you will have to look out for web hosts who provide specialized solutions for that. But many do nowadays.

Here are the things you mentioned:
    1) Setup my shop for me.
Hmm… I am not sure if they will set up your shop.. as in set up each of your pages, your product images etc.. but they can definitely provide you support. What you can do is get a web hosting account (a domain name too of course) that specializes in ecommerce hosting (stuff like shopping carts, credit card/paypal integration). They you can get a freelancer to build the pages for you using the online site builder or do it yourself (I am sure you should be able to do if you spend something like 2-3 days learning the ropes of the builders.. they are meant to be intuitive.)

    2) Provide great customer service.
Yes, if you find the right host… you’ll definitely get this.

    3) Setup a merchant account for me.
Hmmm… setting this up should be easy. Web hosts might help you with this. Ask their support *before* you sign up if they will help you with what you have in mind. Remember though that web hosts do one thing good and that is hosting. Some of them of course do help out with your coding. But if they don’t, don’t take it as a negative. Get yourself, a friend or a freelancer on odesk.com to do it for you. (Remember not to share critical payment information with unknown strangers though.)

    4) Great value for money.
This looks tricky. Sure, you can find great value for money. But one word of advice: Don’t go for very cheap web hosts.. remember you get what you pay for. If it were a personal site, by all means you can go for very cheap ones – like $4 per month or so but not for ecommerce ones. So aim at least $10 or more per month. And don’t go for more than an year of hosting in advance in order to save money.

Have a look at the following page (not so beautiful, I know, but good content):
    http://hosting4beginners.webnode.com/list-of-great-web-hosts/

You’ll find a company called Arvix on them, click over to them and down there you will find shopping cart hosting and ecommerce hosting etc. That is the kind of thing you are looking for. Chat with their live support and ask if what you have in mind can be supported on the PersonalPro plan. They have business plans separately that cost more (but obviously offer more). DownTown is a good host too. Consider the other hosts on the above link too. They are all supposed to be good.

    Good luck bud!
