i make web site and want to advertise that site to users by email .. what i have to do ?

I’m a new web designer and I just published a website about my services. How can I get traffic and find new clients? I thought about things like Craigslist and placing posters on bulletin boards. I target mostly individuals and smaller businesses since my websites are dynamic HTML.

What are some good ways to get people to notice me?

when i type in a subject to search, then press enter, yahoo gives me all kinds of sites to go to, however, when I choose one, it automatically goes to an advertising site. I’ve ran spyware, antivirus, and nothing is detected. Any suggestions?

I want to have my vendors be able to advertise on my website. I don’t have complicated site and was curiuos if there was vendor who could help me with this
