I own two domains. I gave control of them to a web developer for the purpose of creating web sites at those domains. The guy took thousands of dollars and split town and wont return my domains. I am the legal owner of those domains and can substantiate that. Does anyone know of a way I can force a transfer of the control of these domains back to my control, away from this crook’s hands? he is causing damage to my company by doing this, and litigation is pending. But I just want my domains back…any advice?

I just paid for a plan which claims unlimited domain names included in the hosting. As soon as I started asking about how to add new domains, they changed the help screen in my cpanel (no more manage domains button) and they don’t reply to my emails. I am still within 30-days money back guarantee, but I want to give them a chance to respond first.

There are so many web hosting companies now that offer unlimited web hosting service with unlimited domains. Does this mean that I can purchase different domains to point to different sections of the same web space? Of, course all those different domains would have to have different IP addresses so you can link all your sites where all your sites reside in one web space. This way, Google is happy and I’m happy.
What is the procedure to do this? Thanks.

A friend of mine was told by his web designer that if he forwards too many of his domains (more than 4) to his main website that it can effect his ranking in search engines.

Is this really true? I have about 7 or 8 domains forwarded to my main website…Can this hurt me?

I want to know, where do I find the list of domains hosted under a specific web host?

I’m looking for a way to search for a company name in the whois directory. I’d like to type in the name of the company and get a list of all the domains owned by that company.

I know that this is possible, I’ve done it before, but forgot where I found it. Basically you submit a domain and the tool returns the other domains sharing the same ip address. This allows me to find other websites owned by the same company.

I ordered 4 domains and I don’t want any of them! Is there a period where I can get a refund and cancel the domains? I only ordered yesterday night.
