Sometimes it gets really slow and takes forever load up pages but other times it’s quite fast. I’m not sure what my broadband speed is but I’m with virgin media and I use a laptop wirelessly. What can I do to my computer to speed it up?

I have got Connect’s broadband connection which gives me speed between 100kbps to 300kbps according to company. But actually the speed is very less. Can you tell me how to improve the surfing speed?

Recently recieved a computer from a friend, and it was missing a xp file so I reinstaled windows and reformated. I have windows working, but the computer does not seem to register my broadband connection, and the cable company dosent register that its connected to anything. I believe I am missing a network driver, but wanted to make sure. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Unfortunately, having no phone line in the house, we found not so many choices out there for us. Plz help me to find out which companies do broadband without phone line.

I would like to see two distributions. One for actual download speeds, and another for actual upload speeds, for home broadband connections. I’d like to be able to look at the chart and see, say, 20% of homes have download speeds less than 800Kbs. Or less than 5% can upload at greater than 5.2 Mbs.

Hello, I have comcast broadband internet access and have some video games that I want to connect to the online world. My brother says he started a wireless connection with his broadband cable connection and now he plays videogames online. Does anyone has any info about this?
