Can one who lives in UK get broadband without a phone line?
Currently with virgin media, I am planning to switch to a new account. I value speed very much since there is 6 people using computer in the house. Unfortunately, having no phone line in the house, we found not so many choices out there for us. Plz help me to find out which companies do broadband without phone line.

I presume you mean you want broadband to go with an existing phone line, not something mobile like 3, Vodafone, Orange or T-Mobile (none of which I’d recommend, due to cost).
Try Think Broadband if you already have a phone line – they will point you in the direction of the cheapest, and tell you what other requirements there are.
If you live in a region supplied by Virgin Media’s cable service, then you should be able to get cable broadband without getting a phone line.
Other then that, you are pretty much out of luck. There are a few regions where you can get a wireless service, but they are rare and the service isn’t very good, fast or cheap.
Apart from Satellite I believe you will need a phone line for all other providers apart from Virgin Media.
